All software bugs have been fixed, and everything is now working perfectly, as expected. The <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/esp32-efis-ems\/\" title=\"ESP32 EFIS-EMS page\">ESP32 EFIS-EMS page<\/a> has been updated with the results of the latest tests and a brief user guide. A few minor improvements are already being considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March 19, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All KiCad, Gerber, and STEP files, along with the software, are now available for download on the <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/esp32-efis-ems\/\" title=\"ESP32 EFIS-EMS page\">ESP32 EFIS-EMS page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March 16, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Significant progress has been made with the ESP32 EFIS-EMS. Bench testing of the Remote Data Acquisition Module (RDAM) is complete. Everything is functioning as expected. The entire system has been installed in the aircraft, and initial flight tests have begun. These tests are satisfactory. The <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/esp32-efis-ems\/\" title=\"ESP32 EFIS-EMS page\">ESP32 EFIS-EMS webpage<\/a> has been updated accordingly. The KiCad files and the software for the RDAM will be available for download very soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>December 13, 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/esp32-efis-ems\/\" title=\"ESP32 EFIS-EMS\">ESP32 EFIS-EMS page<\/a> is now online. Consequently, we have completed an in-depth review of the <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/arduino-and-teensy-microcontroller-boards\/\" title=\"Microcontroller boards : Arduino, Teensy, and ESP32\">microcontroller <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/lcd-display-screens\/\" title=\"TFT-LCD display for DIY avionics\">display <\/a>pages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>August 28, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/disclaimer-and-copyright-notice\/\" title=\"Disclaimer and copyright notice\">\u00ab\u00a0Disclaimer and Copyright\u00a0\u00bb page<\/a> has been added. It specifies the nature of the licenses affecting software and hardware. These are, of course, open-source licenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 29, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A new page about the <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/efis-pressure-sensors\/\" title=\"EFIS pressure sensors\">EFIS pressure sensors<\/a> has been added in the hardware section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 16, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/flight-data-recorder\/\" title=\"Flight Data Recorder\">Flight Data Recorder<\/a> has been extensively flight-tested with very good results. Kicad files, BOM, and software are now available for download.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 9, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A new flight data recorder has been brought into service and is currently being tested. See <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/flight-data-recorder\/\" title=\"Flight data recorder\">this page<\/a>. It uses the new possibilities linked to the recent redesign of the CAN bus architecture. It is based on an Arduino Nano ESP32 board; see the <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/arduino-and-teensy-microcontroller-boards\/\" title=\"Microcontroller boards\">microcontroller boards page<\/a>, which has been revised and updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March 26, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A new page about the <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/can-bus\/\" title=\"CAN bus\">CAN bus<\/a> has been added in the software section. At the same time, a new configuration of the CAN bus has been implemented, where the old UART communication line between the AHRS and the EFIS main unit has been removed. The AHRS is now connected to the CAN bus. Of course, many software updates were made for that purpose. New and old software versions are available to download on GitHub. Many minor updates were also made accordingly to the EFIS and AHRS pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March 10, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A new page about <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/variable-reluctance-sensors-and-signal-conditioning\/\" title=\"Variable Reluctance sensors - signal conditioning\">variable reluctance sensors and signal conditioning<\/a> has been added in the hardware section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is now possible to attach files to comments: images in JPG or PNG format, ZIP archives, and documents in PDF or TXT format. Furthermore, visitors posting comments will now be notified by email as soon as the moderator has approved them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/comments-section-general-tips\/\" title=\"Comments section: general tips\">advice page for writing comments<\/a> has been added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>February 13, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The EFIS page has been thoroughly reviewed for clarification purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>February 11, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>GNSS configuration has been clarified. <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/the-ahrs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"AHRS page\">AHRS <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/u-blox-neo-m9n-gnss-configuration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"GNSS configuration\">GNSS configuration<\/a> pages have been updated<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>November 9, 2023<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/teensy-micro-ems\/\" title=\"Teensy Micro-EMS\">Teensy Micro-EMS page<\/a> has been extensively revised. New versions of the PCB (v 4.1) and software (v 4.2) are available, correcting the initial defects affecting the rev counter function and providing several improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EMS page has been updated accordingly (new software version 1.5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>May 8, 2023<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Many pages have been updated. In particular, Gerber and drill files are now available for download for all PCBs, in addition to Kicad files, to make ordering these PCBs from manufacturers easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 17, 2023<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/teensy-micro-ems\/\" title=\"Teensy Micro-EMS\">Teensy Micro-EMS page<\/a> is now online. A much more advanced version compared to the previous Micro-EMS, which was based on an Arduino UNO board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 13, 2023<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"undefined\" title=\"NEO-M9N configuration\">U-Blox NEO-M9N GNSS Configuration<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb page has been added. English version as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>November 18, 2022<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/efis-2\/\" title=\"EFIS page\">EFIS page<\/a>, the EFIS V2 Kicad files and source code have been updated. There was an error in the electrical diagram; two connection pins of the rotary encoder were reversed, which did not allow the benefit of the four hardware quadrature encoder channels available on the Teensy 4.1. The <a href=\"https:\/\/avionicsduino.com\/index.php\/en\/ems-engine-monitoring-system-2\/\" title=\"EMS page\">EMS page<\/a> will finally be written soon! Currently, this page only contains a short in-flight video of the new EFIS-EMS, the EFIS part of which mainly benefits from a new homemade AHRS. This AHRS&rsquo;s electronic schematics and open-source software will be released soon; the AHRS page will be modified accordingly. This new AHRS settles the question of the commercial unavailability of the previous Naveol system. The EMS works perfectly. The visual interface is currently bare in text mode, facilitating flight tests.
